December 5th, 2023—Basic Attention Token (BAT) is thrilled to announce the “Sage Burn,” the concluding mint phase of the BAT x Adam Ape Brave NFT collection, first launched in November 2022 on Solana. Starting on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, we invite holders of BAT x Adam Ape NFTs to participate in the Sage Burn event by “burning” a set of three specific NFTs—Curious, Dabbler, and Degen—to receive one of the highly exclusive Sage NFTs, featuring bespoke artwork from Adam Ape, and limited to just 300 pieces.

With their expertise in crafting engaging and accessible NFT experiences across the many networks supported in Brave Wallet, Bandit brings a fresh perspective to this project. We look forward to this being the first of many BAT NFT collaborations with Bandit.
From the outset, the goal of the BAT x Adam Ape NFT project has been to showcase BAT/NFT capabilities within the Solana ecosystem. During the premiere mint on November 9th, 2022, fans could purchase BAT x Adam Ape NFTs using Solana-wrapped BAT in addition to SOL, Solana’s native cryptocurrency. The BAT and Solana NFT communities launched the mint with tremendous success, with all 2500 NFTs from the first three tiers minting within three hours.
For collectors and enthusiasts of Brave and Basic Attention Token, owning a Sage NFT is akin to possessing a piece of digital history. These NFTs symbolize the culmination of the first-ever cross-chain BAT NFT mint, and the inaugural BAT NFT collection launch on Solana.

The Sage Burn event begins on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Bandit Network. It will run indefinitely, with no predetermined end date, or until all 300 Sage NFTs are minted.

‘Burning an NFT’ refers to the irreversible process of permanently destroying it by transferring it to an address from which it cannot be retrieved. In the Sage Burn event, you’ll encounter several prompts to confirm your decision, emphasizing the irreversible nature of burning your NFTs. Once an NFT is burned, the action cannot be reversed.
Anyone worldwide can participate in the Sage Burn, as long as they possess the requisite set of NFTs.
You must possess at least one NFT from each of the three tiers: Curious, Dabbler, and Degen. The NFTs can be purchased separately on secondary marketplaces. (See below.)
Absolutely! You can purchase BAT x Adam Ape for Brave NFTs on secondary marketplaces using Solana (SOL). These marketplaces include Magic Eden, Hyperspace, and Tensor. Acquiring a set containing a Curious, Dabbler, and Degen NFT enables you to participate in the Sage Burn event.
The number on each BAT x Adam Ape NFT indicates its minting order within the collection. For instance, an NFT numbered #139 signifies it was the 139th to be minted. These numbers do not influence your eligibility for the Sage Burn. To participate, you must possess at least one NFT from each of the three tiers—Curious, Dabbler, and Degen – in your connected wallet at the time of the Burn.
Certainly. You have the option to burn any number of Curious, Dabbler, and Degen sets that you possess. If you own multiple NFTs from each tier, you can decide to burn only some of the sets. The choice is yours!
That’s completely fine! Holding onto your Curious, Dabbler, and Degen NFTs is entirely your choice. Participation in the Sage Burn is optional, and you are free to decide whether or not to take part.
Certainly! After the Sage Burn event, Sage NFTs will be available for purchase on secondary NFT marketplaces.
In the event that not all 300 Sage NFTs are minted, the outcome is a smaller circulation of these NFTs. This limited availability inherently increases the rarity of the existing Sage NFTs.

To join the Sage Burn, you can use your Brave Wallet or any other Solana DApp-compatible wallet, such as Phantom, Backpack, Solflare, and more. You can also use a hardware wallet, such as a Ledger or Trezor.
Please ensure that all the BAT x Adam Ape NFTs you plan to burn are consolidated in the same wallet. This wallet should be connected to Bandit Network at the time of the Burn.
All NFTs you plan to burn for the Sage Burn event must be in a single Web3 wallet. This wallet should be the one you connect to Bandit Network for participation in the Burn.
Absolutely. To participate, visit Bandit Network and connect using your Brave Wallet when prompted.
To view your NFTs, simply go to the NFTs tab in your Brave Wallet.
Wrapped tokens facilitate the use of assets across different blockchains, improving functionality and interoperability. This process locks the original tokens on their native blockchain and creates an equal number of wrapped tokens on a smart-contract blockchain such as Ethereum

You can purchase SOL, the Solana network’s cryptocurrency, directly in the Brave Wallet using fiat or crypto via Coinbase Pay, Link by Stripe, Ramp, or other available options. Alternatively, SOL is also available on any cryptocurrency exchange that supports Solana.
